This small sake cup (o-choko) was born to bring happiness to a banquet (or evening dinner if you prefer). Its name 喜器 (read 'Kiki') means "lucky/joyful vessel". It's simple, but unique shape makes this 45cc cup a safe, but luxurious gift suitable for all occasions. Whilst it is typically used for sake, this cup also lends itself to enjoying small tipples of rum or other spirits.

Nousaku’s story began in Takaoka, a city steeped in a tradition of metal-casting, which dates back to the beginning of the Edo Period (400 years ago). Nousaku was founded over 100 years ago, specialising in the crafting of Buddhist ritual implements, tea-ware and vases. Since then, it has evolved into a brand best known for its tableware and decorative items, and developed a reputation for excellence, drawing critical acclaim from top chefs at 3-star Michelin restaurants.

Tin is a very soft metal, so please avoid scratching it with any hard objects.

Do not fill with highly acidic liquids or liquids with strong colours for long periods of time as it might result in discolouration.

Be careful when filling with hot liquids as the cup will get hot very quickly.
